Our first babies of the year! They were born on one of the coldest days last week. Luckily they have a nice cosy spot in some lovely warn straw and are being well looked after by their mum, who is a special friend and this is her first lambing. The boy is called Fang and the girl is called Fluffy.
We cant wait to welcome you all back for a summer of family, friends and fun!
From all at Dolswydd
Every day we have a visit from two little ducks, one boy called Rodney and one girl called Jemima (she likes puddles!).
They fly up the River Ithon to the bridge behind the Severn Arms, land on the river and sail down to the corner. Then they fly back up to the bridge and sail down to the corner again.
Rain or shine, they always visit.
Can you spot them below?
Last weekend we took part in the Big Bird Watch and we found:
about 400 Starlings maybe more
2 Bluetits
2 Magpies
3 Blackbirds
4 Robins
7 Crows
1 Buzzard
3 Red Kites
Pretty cool
We hope all of our lovely visitors are staying safe. Take care all.
We are sorry that we are unable to welcome you to Dolswydd yet this year.
We are a bit late posting this, but we made the decision not to open.
We would love to welcome you when Government guidance allows.
Until then stay safe and well.
Update - 1.6.20 - Wales is still in lockdown, we hope you understand. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you when things get better.
